Crystal Palace winger Wilfried Zaha has been backed to enjoy a prolific season by teammate James McArthur.
Zaha opened his account for the Eagles last weekend with the winning strike at Middlesbrough after also providing Christian Benteke with an assist.
The 23-year-old was the subject of substantial interest from Tottenham Hotspur earlier in the summer.
McArthur insists Zaha has been “unbelievable” since returning to Palace following a dismal spell at Manchester United and believes he can enjoy great success this season.
“He’s been instrumental in what the club has done in the last four or five years. He’s been excellent,” McArthur told talkSPORT.
“Obviously he left for a while but since he came back and I’ve been playing with him, he’s been unbelievable to be honest.
“When you’ve got a player you can give the ball to on your byline, and take it to the other byline, that’s a nice feeling.”
Scotland international McArthur, 28, added: “Getting the goal will obviously help his confidence. I really think it’s going to be Wilfried Zaha’s year this year.
“I think he’s going to produce lots of assists and goals and hopefully he keeps continuing playing as well as he has.”
