Charlton defender Naby Sarr has completed a season-long loan deal to French club Red Star.

The 22-year-old joined the Addicks last summer on a five-year deal, but only made 12 league appearances during the 2015/16 campaign.

Sarr last featured for Charlton back in January and failed to impress returning manager Jose Riga.

He is now set to return to France to spend a season at Red Star, who play in Ligue 2.

Speaking to the club website, Sarr said he suffered several injuries in SE7 last season and hopes to get a run of games at Red Star.
