Just in case you lost track of Charlton’s business during the January transfer window, here are the details of every confirmed deal by the Addicks, followed by News Shopper's verdict.

Incoming:

ROGER JOHNSON [Free agent]

The former Wolves and Birmingham defender signed an 18-month deal with Charlton in early January, despite only being released by the club in May.

The 32-year-old has only featured in two league games so far and was an unused substitute during the matches against Rotherham and Blackburn.

NS verdict: Extensive Championship experience doesn’t justify an odd move

DIEGO POYET [West Ham, loan]

Charlton’s Player of the Season two years ago returned to the club on a loan spell until the end of the season after leaving MK Dons.

The 20-year-old has seemingly lost some of the spark that won him so many admirers as a teenager but will hope he can reignite his career in the familiar surroundings of the Valley.

NS verdict: Quiet start but a return to form will pay dividends

News Shopper:

RHYS WILLIAMS [Middlesbrough, loan]

Charlton secured the services of Australia international Rhys Williams in a short-term loan deal on January 2.

Despite being rated highly by Middlesbrough, who he has represented on more than 150 occasions, Williams has appeared desperately short of game time and endured a torrid afternoon in the 6-0 defeat at Hull.

NS verdict: Leadership has been evident, other parts of his game haven’t

JORGE TEIXEIRA [Standard Liege, undisclosed]

Despite owner Roland Duchatelet selling Standard Liege, Charlton still have close ties with the Belgian club.

Portuguese defender Jorge Teixeira is the latest in a long line of imports from Liege. The 29-year-old impressed on debut but conceded a penalty during the impressive win at Rotherham.

NS verdict: Charlton may have been right to offer him such a long contract

News Shopper:

YAYA SANOGO [Arsenal, loan]

The first of Charlton’s two deadline day signings was Arsenal striker Yaya Sanogo.

The 23-year-old Frenchman has played just 11 league games for the Gunners since 2013 but will be hoping for a productive run in the Championship under Jose Riga.

NS verdict: Arsene Wenger rates him, which is good enough for us

ROD FANNI [Al-Arabi, loan]

On deadline day former Ligue 1 star Rod Fanni joined Charlton on loan until the end of the season.

Fanni, a right back who can also be deployed in central defence, represented France five times and ended a successful spell at Marseille last season by joining Qatari club Al-Arabi.

NS verdict: Experienced defender will only enhance Charlton’s chances of survival
