Let’s face it girls, it can be a real challenge to look fashionable and fresh-faced after endless days of partying at a festival, no matter what the weather.

So wherever you’re heading this summer, Glastonbury, Reading or maybe the V Festival, there’s some simple fashion secrets that will make your festival look rock.

Greenwich Shopping Park has the season’s hottest festival fashions at its stores. And to make sure you’re a festival goddess, we’re sharing some of the best looks on the high street with you exclusively.

Maximum style, minimum effort

Ah, the good old maxi dress. Comfortable and chic, from day until night, it doesn’t matter if it gets creased, as it just adds to the whole boho look that oozes style this season.

Last year’s maxi was all about the print, but this year block colours are more on trend.

New Look has a great range of maxi dresses, and we also love this (image right) jersey dress, £18, from Dorothy Perkins at OUTFIT.

Wear maxis with flip flops or sandals, chunky bangles and a pendant for a fabulous look.

Dare to reveal

Go for one pair of comfortable sandals. Think gladiators or flip flops in a colour that will go with any look – tan or gold are perfect for day or night too.

Try Clarks and New Look for a great range of sandals, and these gold sandals (see image above) are perfect and only £25 from Dorothy Perkin’s at OUTFIT.

Check you’ve packed this

For girls and guys, a check or denim shirt is hard-wearing, warm and has a rock ‘n’ roll vibe that works day and night.

Girls should team shirts with denim skirts or shorts, while guys should wear with some distressed jeans for a high fashion look.

We love this denim shirt (below), £29.99, from River Island.

It’s all about the accessories

A pair of jeans, tee and wellies needn’t look dull - just update the look with some fashionable accessories.

Think trilby hats and Alexander McQueen inspired scarves for you and your guy, while pendants, flower hair accessories and arms full of chunky bangles gives that added feminine look.

Try these (below) from Next, £18.

And, just think, with all of that dancing, you won’t want to carry a handbag, so make sure you invest in an across-the-body bag.

We love this vintage inspired one from H&M (below). And they’re not just for girls - man bags are the most stylish male fashion accessory of the minute, so get involved!

  • A dark or oversized pair of sunglasses. These will disguise the fact that you got not sleep last night – TopShop at OUTFIT, Next and New Look stock great sunnies.
  • Dry shampoo, available from £1.49 and Baby Wipes, available from £0.89, Boots.
