The sun is shining and florals are already dominating the high street, so it can only mean one thing - spring has officially arrived! Here’s our pick of the best trends from Greenwich Shopping Park to help you step into spring in style.
Tribal
A spring/summer favourite seen on Heidi Klum and Sienna Miller - tribal is the new black.
Tribal is made up of strong, stand-out prints such as black and white graphics teamed up with warm, earthy tones of deep reds and oranges with natural accents such as straw and wood.
Follow Christopher Kane’s lead and team tribal with animal prints such as cheetah and leopard print for a high fashion look.
As tribal graphics are often oversized and strong, they work best on simple shapes such as shift dresses and tunics, in soft, draped fabrics.
An armful of wooden bangles, beaded cuffs or matte metallics set off this look perfectly.

Army jackets
Thanks to inspiring designers such as Balmain and Marc Jacobs, military as we’ve known it through recent seasons has finally evolved.
The almighty army jacket, whether it be cameo green or khaki, long or short - this versatile layering piece has been all over the runway this season.
The army jacket can also be dressed up with a feminine touch by teaming a jacket with a chiffon or sequinned dress.
The key to getting the army jacket to fit in with the evolution of the military trend is its subdued nature: though patched and studded, it features none of the glam elements of previous seasons.
Top tip: By far the coolest shoe of the season, the ‘clog’ will look great with army and military inspired clothes. Since hitting Chanel’s catwalk last year, Next has followed in Chanel’s footsteps with these gorgeous tan clogs, £40 (above).
Inside out
In recent seasons many fashion elements have emerged from the 1980s and it’s clear certain elements have a place in this decade and the next.
Now, courtesy of Dolce & Gabbana and Stella McCartney, we see various pieces of underwear return to the forefront as outerwear.
Sheer fabric is also back as one of hottest trends this year, and plenty of celebrities such as Lily Allen and Kate Moss are wearing it.
But don't worry, it's not all about tight, see-through tops, and dresses that scream 'look at me'. You'll find sheer fabrics and brassiere that can be worn in a multitude of ways.
