Well, 2009 is almost gone and so it's time to offer what I believe is the quote of 2009.
This quote, I believe, sums up Great Britain today perfectly:
“Liberal policies have reached a point where Britain has become a Third World country in the sense that the civilised population is not protected.
In Third World countries, criminals get away with their crimes by slipping the authorities a brown envelope. Here the criminals don’t need to do that because we pat them on the back and say: 'Well done. We are so civil that we will put you in a rehabilitation centre rather than in jail but you carry on committing your crimes’ ”.

Bring on 2010 and hopefully a change in everything that's wrong with this country.
