RELAXATION, bliss and harmony are just three things you will experience during a massage at a new yoga centre.

Breeze, The Urban Yoga Company, has recently opened up to provide residents with a place to go to relax and unwind.

Not only can you take part in yoga, pilates and tai chi, but you can also experience a fabulous massage.

The centre offers a range of different treatments all based on Sundari, which was created by yoga enthusiast and supermodel Christy Turlington.

Sundari is a collection of skincare products and Ayurvedic inspired spa treatments created from the purest ingredients and rarest essences taken from all over the world.

Recently I allowed myself to succumb to temptation and went along to have a Abhyanga Massage at the centre in Albemarle Road, Beckenham.

Being slightly nervous I did not know what to expect, but straight away after meeting my masseuse, Paola, I felt relaxed.

The treatment started with getting changed into a fluffy comfy dressing gown and then dipping my feet into some hot water where Paola then used some natural exfoliant to make my feet nice and smooth.

The massage then started where Paola worked on almost every part of my body, using Neem, a nourishing healing oil, and Triphala oil which contained vitamin c for that all important circulation boost.

It also contained Grape seed oil and Ylang Ylang.

I was so relaxed whilst laying on the table that I actually drifted off for a while!

The atmosphere was very calming, with soft, subtle, music gently playing in the background whilst the candles and lighting added to the relaxing atmosphere.

Paola’s massage helped to not only relax me but also energise my muscles and tired mind, and the next day I felt so calm and in control.

In the week of November 21 the centre is holding a promotional week where they are offering 25 per cent of all treatments and there will be taster facials and massages, and talks on treatments and products.

There is no need to book.

A little bit about Paola

Paola spent three years studying meditation in India and managed luxury spas in Thailand for 12 years.

She also teaches Reiki and Yoga as well.

During massage Paola enters a meditative state and believes it is very important for the therapist to have a 'quiet mind' to give the best possible massage.

The Abhyanga Massage is £95 for one and a half hours and £65 for one hour.
