JUST how attached are you to your computer?

This was the question posed in a recent MORI survey, which found many people have developed an attachment to their PC because of how much time they spend with them.

Some 28 per cent of adult users and 60 per cent of children said they were extremely fond of their PC.

One-in-three adults and 44 per cent of youngsters said they thought of their PC as a trusted friend. Many people surveyed even admitted talking to their machines.

A large proportion of people actually thought computers would eventually become as important as friends and family.
