Hello All

Many apologies for not writing sooner, it’s been quite a busy time in Fairyland.

Ah the thin line between Love and Hate……. It always amazes me how two people who have loved each other and shared their lives, hopes and dreams together in ever possible way can then change in a blink of an eye to hating each other’s guts.

Now the first Mr Bell (who was a lovely man) and I, have now crossed that line. For the past couple of years we have tried to be amicable and sort our out our divorce and finances between ourselves and not have to get solicitors involved, well last week that all went pear shaped, and the first of many expensive visits to my solicitor have begun. It is so horrible as I have no huge grudge against him, he is a great guy, but both of us feel we put a lot “financially” into our marriage and as we all know when there is a pound note involved it all so often goes “belly up”.

The current Mr Bell and his ex are slightly different, she has always been very bitter and resentful and uses the children at every turn. The current Mr Bell is a very easy going kind of guy, and he has basically let her call the shots, which for an easy life is probably the best thing as I think the main priority for him has to be the children.

I then got thinking to the very public “splitting up of Katie Price and Peter Andre”. First off, she moved all his belongings out of the house and changed the locks…. (when she says she really wants him back..??) and then I hear in one of the papers today she is saying he had bad breath amongst other things, and just generally slating him. Then we find her saying that the public hate her and are comparing her to Heather Mills……. Now I am no great Katie and Peter fan and I have never watched their TV programme, I have seen the trailers and quite frankly Pete, I honestly think you have had a lucky escape and Katie if you don’t want to be compared to the likes of Heather Mills then stop doing silly tabloid interviews!

Don’t get me wrong my marriage to the first Mr Bell was not all roses, but you know what that is between me and him and I would get no pleasure in telling others of his faults, it is between us. (I also don’t think The Sun or The Mirror or Heat would really be interested in it).

So when that line is crossed, try to keep your dignity, and I know how hard that can be, but in the long run you will come out on top. O the winner in my divorce…. I think that will be the young solicitor who will be acting on my behalf!

Happy Days
