YOUNG musicians and singers from Bexley borough took part in the second week of BexFactor bootcamp last week.

Around thirty young hopefuls selected from the first round audition stage joined in the workshops at Welling School in Elsa Road, Welling.

The programme, which focused on singing and songwriting and included elements of production, was run by Point Blank Music School in connection with Bexley Council.

A total of around sixty young people from Bexley borough have taken part in the fortnight of professional coaching between April 6 and April 17.

From that group twenty will be selected for the next stage of the BexFactor competition which involves more mentoring and the chance to win a scholarship to Point Blank, whose past pupils include X Factor winner Leona Lewis.
