THE trial of the man accused of murdering teenager Jimmy Mizen will begin at the Old Bailey this week.
Jake Fahri, aged 19, of Millborough Crescent, Lee, denies murdering the 16-year-old outside the Three Cooks bakery in Lee on May 10 last year.
His trial begins on Thursday (March 12) and is expected to last two to three weeks.
Jimmy’s father Barry Mizen says he expects the trial will be an emotional marathon for all the family.
The 57-year-old said: “We believe it’s going to be very hard and stressful, but we have strong support from the community.”
