All traffic on the westbound of the M20 in Kent has been closed due to a crash.
The motorway has been shut from J6 A229 to J5 Aylesford since around 6am today (April 27).
National Highways has urged motorists to allow plenty of time and plan ahead of their journey if travelling in the area.
The #M20 in Kent is CLOSED westbound between J6 and J5 near #Maidstone following a collision, where a car has struck the central reservation.

The incident has caused miles of congestion on approach and traffic delays, according to AA.
It is unknown when all traffic restrictions will be lifted.
