A Grove Park drug dealer has been spared immediate imprisonment after a zombie knife and ammunition were found in a police raid.

Jumar King, 21, was arrested on March 2 last year during a police raid on Baring Road.

A court heard that at 7.45am police stormed the address and found King in the upstairs room.

The window was open and King had discarded a number of packages out of the window.

In total, officers found 5.8g of cocaine and 3.4g of heroin.

They also found a zombie knife, ammunition and a BB gun, Judge Chrostopher Grout said.

King was never charged in relation to the knife or BB gun. He was charged with possession of ammunition but the charge was later dropped.

King said the drugs were for personal use but he later pleaded guilty to possession of cocaine and heroin with intent to supply.

“Clearly, you were set up for street dealing from your house,” Judge Grout said.

The judge noted that King was “just a small part” in a large operation.

At Woolwich Crown Court on Friday (April 26) King was given a 16-month sentence, suspended for two months.

He was ordered to carry out 100 hours of unpaid work and will be subject to trail monitoring.

Judge Grout warned King: “I will give people a chance where they deserve a chance, but I can only do that once.”
