This weekend, the return of London's St George's Day festival will be hosted in Trafalgar Square.

Set to celebrate "everything brilliant about England and being English" the parade is now in its 17th year hosted by the Mayor of London.

With host singer-songwriter Harleymoon Kemp getting celebrations going, the event will have a main stage, food and activities.

When is the St George's Day Parade in Trafalgar Square? 

The event is taking place on Sunday, April 21 and will see events kick off from 12pm lasting until 6pm.

The St George's Day Parade is completely free to enter but there are charges for food and drinks.

What is the bag policy for the St George's Day parade in London?

As the event is expected to be busy, organisers say to expect queues as there will be bag searches when entering the Square.

They are also encouraged not to bring large bags into the event to avoid delays.
