A man has been fined £300 for spitting on the floor in Greenwich.
Elian Jose Montego, of Rowan Crescent in Streatham, was found guilty of the offence at Bexley Magistrates’ Court earlier this month.
The court heard that on March 22 on Stockwell Street he spat on the street.
Montego, who was not present at the hearing, was fined £300, told to pay £300 in costs and a £120 surcharge.
The prosecution was brought by Greenwich London Borough Council.
