A driver from Belvedere has been banned after he was caught behind the wheel while he was three times over the legal alcohol limit. 

Siarhei Kandratsenka, 54, appeared at Bexley Magistrates’ Court for sentencing after he pleaded guilty to drink driving. 

The court heard that on July 24 he was breathalysed after he was seen driving a Mercedes E class on Nuxley Road in Belvedere

He was found to have 123 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millitres of breath, exceeding the limit of 35 microgrammes. 

He was also uninsured. 

On Monday (September 18) Kandratsenka, of Woolwich Road, appeared in court. 

He was given a 12-month community order including a requirement to carry out 150 hours on unpaid work. 

Kandratsenka was also disqualified from driving for 29 months. 

He was ordered to pay a £114 surcharge and £85 in costs.
