A flasher who stripped naked and laid down on top of a grave has been granted bail.

Stewart Kilty, 46, of Upper Tulse Hill in Brixton, has pleaded guilty to indecent exposure and outraging public decency.

The first charge relates to an incident in Dover on August 3, 2022, when he exposed his genitals at a person intending to cause them alarm or distress.

The second charge relates to an incident in Bromley where he stripped naked in a graveyard and lay down on a grave.

Kilty has also pleaded guilty to:

  • Two charges of using threatening, abusive, insulting words or behaviour with intent to cause harassment, alarm or distress
  • One count of racially/religiously aggravated intentional harassment
  • One charge of failing to comply with a community order
  • One charge of failing to surrender to police bail

Kilty appeared at Croydon Magistrates’ Court on Friday (July 7) where he was due to be sentenced.

However, the sentencing was adjourned because the relevant reports had not been produced, despite being ordered by the court.

Kilty, who was being held in prison, was therefore released on conditional post-conviction bail until his next court date in late July.

This was despite his history of failing to attend court while on police bail.
