Five drink drivers on the roads of south east London appeared at Bromley Magistrates’ Court on the same day. 

The motorists, who come from Lewisham, Woolwich, Sidcup and Plumstead, were all caught behind the wheel in excess of the alcohol limit for drivers of 35 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. 

On Friday (May 12) magistrates dished out various punishments ranging from 3 points on the licence to driving bans. 

Details for each case are as follows: 

Martin Barrett, 42, of Maud Cashmore Way in Woolwich

Gave a reading of 66mgs of alcohol in 100mls of breath at Maud Cashmore Way in Woolwich on October 10 last year. 

Ordered to pay total of £620 in fines and costs. Given 3 points on his licence. 

Charlie Wilson, 30, of Blythe Vale in Lewisham 

Gave a reading of 112 mgs of alcohol in 100mls of breath in Lewisham on April 22 this year. 

Disqualified from driving until case is dealt with in court. 

Nejom Bokth, 48, of Sherwood Park Avenue in Sidcup 

Gave a reading of 113mgs of alcohol in 100mls of breath in A2 East Rochester Way in Bexley on April 25 this year. 

Ordered to pay total of £141 in fines and costs. Disqualified from driving for two years and four months. 

Gevon Ronaldo Miller, 39, of Tanners Hill in Lewisham 

Gave a reading of 65mgs of alcohol in 100mls of breath on Prospect Place in Dartford on April 26 this year. 

Ordered to pay total of £386 in fines and costs. Disqualified from driving for 17 months. 

Laura Torres-Jorkuera, 36, of Plumstead Common Road in Plumstead 

Gave a reading of 81mgs of alcohol in 100mls of breath on Avery Hill in Greenwich on April 20 this year. Also pleaded guilty to driving without insurance. 

Ordered to pay £168 in fines and costs. Disqualified from driving for 17 months.
