Network Rail strike action and planned engineering works are set to cause disruption to the Southeastern timetable throughout Christmas and the New Year.

Christmas Eve, December 24 

Due to strike action by Network Rail RMT members there will be no services running from around midday.

The entire network will be closed by 3pm.

No trains will be running from Lewisham and London Cannon Street station will be closed.

Trains will be running from Charing Cross and London Bridge, and there will be a bus replacement service operating between New Cross and Dartford, which will run through Lewisham and Bexleyheath.

There will also be no trains between Dartford and London Bridge via Sidcup due to late engineering work.

No trains will stop at Denmark Hill and on the Hayes line there will be a reduced service of two trains per hour.

Christmas Day, December 25 and Boxing Day, December 26

No Southeastern services will run.

Bank Holiday, December 27

RMT members are on strike, and this will mean services will start later than usual, with no trains before midday on most routes.

No trains at Lewisham station.

There will be a bus replacement service between New Cross & Dartford, via Lewisham and Bexleyheath.

No trains will run between Dartford and London Bridge via Sidcup due to late engineering work.

Trains will not be stopping at Denmark Hill and on the Hayes line there will be a reduced service of two trains per hour.

December 28

A Saturday based timetable will be in place and no trains will continue to run from Lewisham station.

There will be a bus replacement service between New Cross and Dartford via Lewisham and Bexleyheath.

December 29

A Saturday based timetable will be operating and there will again be no trains running from Lewisham.

A bus replacement service will run between New Cross & Dartford via Lewisham & Bexleyheath.

The last trains between Deal and Ramsgate, and between Canterbury West and Margate will be replaced by buses.

December 30

A Saturday based timetable will be operating and there will again be no trains running from Lewisham.

A bus replacement service will run between New Cross & Dartford via Lewisham & Bexleyheath.

New Year's Eve, December 31

No trains will be running from Lewisham and a bus replacement service will run between New Cross and Dartford via Lewisham and Bexleyheath.

There will be additional late night trains running from London Charing Cross and London Victoria.

Waterloo East Station will be closed from 11:45pm.

New Year’s Day, January 1

There will be no trains running from Lewisham and there will be an extensive bus replacement service in place.

A bus replacement service will run between New Cross and Dartford via Lewisham & Bexleyheath.

Buses also replace trains between Canterbury East and Dover Priory, Folkestone West and Deal and Swanley and Borough Green & Wrotham.

Bank Holiday, January 2

No trains will be running from Lewisham and there is a bus replacement service in place between New Cross and Dartford via Lewisham and Bexleyheath.
