It's fair to say none of us would complain if we won the lottery.

And, it's probably also fair to say we've all considered once in our lives what we'd do with the monetary winnings.

We asked News Shopper readers how they'd spend their money if they were lucky enough to win.

And the residents of south east London seem to have a common theme in how they'd spend their riches - including buying new houses, looking after those close to them and giving to charity.

Some said they'd spend, others said they'd save but unsurprisingly it seems no one would be able to complain if they won.

Here are some of the best responses:

Katherine Moore said: "Buy a house and give my close family money the ones that are there for me."

Pat Harding Fowler said: "Wouldn't tell anyone and just look after myself and those close to me."

Sam Webb said: "Put money away for my kids future then buy myself a big house,"

Ian Hutchinson said: "At my age spend spend."

Rachel Yeomans said: "Clear my debt, buy a house, do a degree in history and travel........show my kids your never to old to live your dreams."

Nancy Jones said: "Go to Nando's."

Andrew Bowes said: "Live with the means for my ambitions, and try to create valued jobs and opportunities for other people to realise theirs."

Paula Paula said: "Bl***y spend it without any worries."

Natmarie Wils said: "Buy the biggest bit of land and save animals and home them."

Sanja Sijan said: "Give it to hospice, charities and medical/science research."

Lorna Roberts said: "Help family. Buy property. Set up a special needs disabled holiday park with activities for all."

Angel Kezza said: "Give half to Great Ormond Street hospital and the rest I would split between my family."

And it looks like south east London already has a winner, as David Lovelace joked: "I did win the lottery and brought a really big Starbucks with the £10."
