Two people have been taken to hospital after a crash on the M25.

Kent Police officers were called to the crash at Junction 5 on the motorway just before 1am on Monday, October 11.

It involved one vehicle.

Two people were taken to a hospital in London for treatment.

At around 10.40am, Kent Police said the carriageway at the A21 slip road still remained closed in the direction of Tonbridge.

It added that a diversion was in place.

A spokesperson for Kent Police said: "Kent Police was called to a single vehicle collision on the M25 at Junction 5 just before 1am on Monday 11 October 2021.

"Two people were taken to a London hospital for treatment.

"The carriageway remains closed at the A21 slip road in the direction of Tonbridge, where a diversion is in place."
