A robber is on the run after threatening staff in a failed raid on a Swanley supermarket, it is alleged.
The try-hard thief reportedly told Asda staff members in London Road he was carrying a weapon and demanded cash from the travel money bureau.
He fled the store empty-handed after an alarm was triggered.
No weapon was seen or used during the attempted robbery which happened on September 24 at around 3.55pm.
CCTV images have been released by police of a man they wish to speak to.
The man was wearing a dark jacket, dark trousers and shoes, along with a white baseball cap and sunglasses.
When he walked into the store he was talking on a white smartphone.
