Matt Damon’s superspy with an identity crisis will crash back on to the big screen this summer – and now the first trailer for Jason Bourne has been released.
Cheam-born, Gravesend-raised director Paul Greengrass – who helmed the lauded The Bourne Supremacy and The Bourne Ultimatum – has returned alongside Damon after both sat out 2012’s The Bourne Legacy.
Also returning is Julia Stiles, while new additions to the cast include this year’s best actress Oscar winner Alicia Vikander and Tommy Lee Jones.
The film sees Jason Bourne resurface several years after his disappearance at the end of The Bourne Ultimatum, just as the world is faced with unprecedented instability and is expected to delve into the security situation post-Snowden and Wikileaks.
Due out on July 22, the film’s locations have included Croydon and Woolwich Arsenal station, which doubled for Athens.
