Sought-after folk duo Miranda Sykes and Rex Preston, who were described by the Daily Telegraph as ‘sublime’, will play Blackheath at the beginning of March.
The pair – who combine mandolin and double bass – will play Mycenae House from 8pm on Friday, March 4, as part of the tour to support their new album The Watchmaker’s Wife.
Released on February 19, the record promises honest and simple songs of love and loss while their live show also includes well-chosen covers.
Tickets cost £12. Call 020 88581749 or e-mail info@mycenaehouse.co.uk. Find out more about the duo at sykespreston.com
