The Gravesend lifeboat was launched to a vessel fire in the Thames Gateway area yesterday (February 4).
The engine blaze happened at around 4.30pm, when the boat was in Sea Reach.
When the RNLI arrived, the vessel's crew had already isolated the fire by turning off the power to the engine compartment, and the flames were extinguished.
The boat was towed to the Town Pier in Gravesend - and the lifeboat was returned to station.
