Hundreds of people were evacuated from several buildings in the London Bridge area due to a security alert.
Met Police were called to Tooley Street just before 12.30pm today (December 1).
Officers evacuated and cordoned off an area close to the Hay’s Galleria shopping centre opposite London Bridge station.
Network Rail and Southeastern said the station remained open and trains were running into and out of the station as normal.
A Southeastern spokesperson said: “Please note that London Bridge station is fully open and isn't affected by this.”
We've had reasons to evacuate building close to Hays Galleria SE1. Investigations take time. Will update when we can. Thanks for patience.
