The Dartford Crossing will be closed on Saturday night (November 28), with all traffic being diverted through the tunnels.
Highways England plan to close the bridge between 10pm and 5am on Sunday.
At 10pm, southbound traffic will be held briefly - whilst diversions at put in place.
After this, southbound traffic will be diverted through the east Dartford Tunnel - until 5am.
Northbound traffic will be limited to the west tunnel - which has a height limit of 4.8metres and is unsuitable for some lorries and other tall vehicles.
These drivers will be diverted via the western section of the M25.
The crossing is closed for general maintenance - including sweeping, cleaning, lighting maintenance, bridge inspections, calibrating ice sensors, and replacing electronic signs overhead.
