The rail line for high speed services between Ebbsfleet International and Stratford is blocked this evening (October 7).

Southeastern warn trains may be cancelled, delayed or revised until 12pm.

A Southeastern spokesman said: "The overhead wires have become damaged in the Stratford International area which means that we cannot use one of the lines between London St Pancras and Ebbsfleet international.

"Network Rail staff are on site and are working to fix the problem as quickly as possible, but disruption to our High Speed services will likely continue until end of service.

"We won't be able to run our full service from London St Pancras during this evening's peak period.

"We therefore recommend that you consider alternative services from London Victoria, London Cannon Street or London Charing Cross to make your journey.

"You'll be able to travel on the London Underground to and from St Pancras at no extra charge."

Rail replacement buses are running between Longfield and Ebbsfleet; and Greenhithe to Gravesend via Ebbsfleet.
