A two-week-old baby boy missing from Bromley was found "safe and well" by Met Police officers overnight (October 3).
A police spokesman said: "Bromley Police are continuing to liaise with the local authority, and would like to thank the media and public for their assistance."
The little boy, who was born on Saturday, September 19, was missing for four days.
The child was last being seen on Wednesday (September 30) in the Beckenham area.
Police believed that his mother Danielle Dawkins and other family members were hiding the child - to prevent him being taken into local authority care.
Detective Chief Inspector Dave Yarranton, from Bromley CID, said: "This is a vulnerable little boy who needs to be located as soon as possible.
TODAY'S TOP STORIES:
"He has not been seen for a number of days, and whilst we do not believe he has come to any harm it is of paramount importance that anyone who has any information as to his whereabouts contacts us immediately.
"I would like to make a direct appeal to those who may be hiding the baby.
"It may be the case that you think you are doing the right thing by helping his mother, or it simply could be that you are not fully aware of the circumstances, but by concealing this child you could be committing an offence.
"I would urge anyone who has any information to get in contact with us."
