Two people in their thirties have been arrested, after a 'fight' broke out during Friday lunch service in a popular chain restaurant in Bexleyheath (October 2).

Met Police were called to reports of people fighting in Pizza Hut in the Broadway, at around 1.05pm.

London Ambulance Service also attended, and treated two people who had suffered minor injuries.

The suspects had already left - but three people were later stopped not far from the venue.

Police officers arrested a 36-year-old woman on suspicion of common assault and criminal damage, and a 30-year-old man on suspicion of ABH.

Both were bailed to attend a south London police station on dates in early and mid October.

Police are investigating, and enquiries by Bexley police are ongoing.

A Pizza Hut spokesman said: "This matter is currently being investigated by the police and as such we cannot provide any further comment at this stage."
