Flood alerts have been issued for the Thames at Greenwich after high tides caused the river to swell.
The Environment Agency warned the river from the Thames Barrier to Putney Bridge is at risk of flooding.
MORE TOP STORIES In particular the Royal Naval College riverfront, near the Greenwich foot tunnel, and the Almshouse Slipway at Crane Street are potential hot spots.
The warning in force today (September 1) is the lowest of the three warnings, and means that flooding is possible so be prepared.
Putney and Chiswick are others areas which could be affected.
