An RNLI lifeboat was dispatched this morning (July 7) to search the shoreline from Cliffe to Gravesend.
The boat left the harbour just after 6.30am to conduct a search from Alpha Jetty, Cliffe inward bound to Imperial Wharf, Gravesend in the search for a vulnerable missing person.
After an unsuccessful search the boat returned to the station.
