Dartford and Gravesham Magistrates' Court
A Dartford woman who stole £68 worth of chocolate has narrowly avoided going to jail.
Claire Louise Havard stole the chocolate from a shop in Priory Shopping Centre, Dartford on June 6, Dartford and Gravesham Magistrates' Court heard.
On May 17 the 30-year-old, of Phoenix Place stole clothing worth £265 from a shop in Prospect Place, Dartford.

She pleaded guilty to two counts of shoplifting and was sentenced at the same court on June 29.
Magistrates handed Havard a 60 day prison sentence, suspended for 18 months.
She must also pay a £180 criminal courts charge - a charge put towards the running of the court, £85 costs and an £80 victim surcharge.
