A man has been charged with a long-unsolved burglary at an executive box at Crystal Palace's football ground.
Stephen Sailes, 31, is accused of forcing a door and smashing two windows to break into the luxury suite while trespassing at Selhurst Park on March 13, 2008.
The Eagles were not playing a match that day, having drawn 1-1 away at West Bromwich Albion the previous night.
Mr Sailes, of Davenport Road, Lewisham, appeared at Croydon Magistrates' Court yesterday charged with burglary with intent to steal.
He was charged after police found a bloodstain taken from executive box's door matched his DNA.
