A car was "dragged all the way down" a Sidcup road by a bus, while a dad and his two sons were inside.

AJ Campbell and his 25-year-old brother, Josh, were being driven down Station Road at around 5.15pm yesterday (February 26) by their father, Stuart, 46.

AJ, 15, said a 160 bus drove out without indicating, causing the two vehicles to collide.

He told News Shopper "We were going down Station Road. The bus was stationary at the side of the road and it just pulled out and dragged us all the way down the road.

"The bus driver just drove out without indicating.

"There were skid marks all the way down the road.

"After it happened the bus drove on for another 20 seconds. Me and my brother had to stop it."

He added: "The front bumper came off the car.

"Dad had to be cut out of the car. The top of the car had to be cut off so it looked like a convertible.

"He cannot really walk now but he's fine."

Station Road was cordoned off after the incident, with TFL reporting considerable traffic in the area as a result.

Bus routes 51, 160, 229, 233, 269, 286 and the 492 were all on diversion, but later resumed their normal route.

A London Ambulance Service spokesman said: "We were called at 5.14pm to Station Road, Sidcup to reports of a road traffic collision.

"An ambulance crew was sent to the scene and treated a man reported to be in his 40s.

"He was taken to Queen Elizabeth II hospital."

No arrests have been made.
