Snow is set to fall in south east London and across Kent again today.

The Met Office has issued a yellow warning of snow and ice across south east England, predicting that temperatures will dip below zero this evening (February 5) and into tomorrow morning (February 6).

A chief forecaster at the Met Office said: "Troughs arriving from the east will bring a wintry mix of showers to many parts early on Thursday with rain and sleet around coasts, readily turning to snow inland.

"These may fall onto locally sub-zero surfaces, giving a risk of icy stretches.

"The showers should become largely confined to the southeast later on Thursday where they may continue into the early hours of Friday."

Weather experts have also warned the public to be aware of the potential for disruption to travel.
