Thamesmead police arrested a man for possession of Class B drugs following a raid on a house in Kale Road.

Police executed a drugs warrant on October 17 after receiving information from members of the public about drug dealing in the area.

During the raid officers found a large block of amphetamine, cannabis and other paraphernalia.

A man was arrested for possession of two class B drugs with intent to supply and has been bailed pending lab analysis.

PS Thomas, Thamesmead East sergeant said "This is a great result. We have taken a lot of drugs off the street. When we get the intelligence through we will act on it."

PC Molnar, Thamesmead East ward PC said "We continue to encourage residents to inform police and our partners about crime and anti social behaviour. Any information can help corroborate existing intelligence which will help us obtain a warrant for court. You can call police on 101, or CrimeStoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111."
