A Sidcup street is being closed next week after a leak was discovered.

Station Road, near the old police station, is being shut from Monday (October 27).

It is expected repairs will take all week.

Thames Water has identified a leak beneath the carriageway, near to the centre of the road, which does not leave enough room for cars to pass.

At the same time, the old police station is being redeveloped and requires a new gas supply from the gas main in Station Road so it is hoped all the works can be done at the same time.

There will be disruption to the road network in the Sidcup area and local traffic diversions down adjacent roads.
