Millwall manager Ian Holloway has been recognised for his hard work in fighting racism in football.

More than 100 guests paid tribute to Mr Holloway at the Show Racism the Red Card event as he was inducted into the charity’s Hall of Fame for his work.

Speeches were made in honour of Holloway throughout the night from former PFA chairman Clarke Carlisle to chief executive Ged Grebby.

They recognised Holloway’s efforts whilst also highlighting the general hard work of the charity in combating racism.

Mr Holloway, in the final speech of the night, thanked the charity.

He added: "I am very honoured and humbled to receive the award, but feel a bit of a fraud when you consider all the effort, hard work and passion people like Ged Grebby put into the cause.

"He without doubt is the true driving force and inspiration behind the good work."
