UPDATE: Security guard assaulted at Lewisham Hospital
Police were called to Lewisham Hospital at 12.30pm yesterday following reports of an assault on a securty guard.
A 55-year-old man was treated for minor facial injuries and a suspect was arrested and later bailed until October.
A Twitter user who uploaded a photo of the incident was told by witnesses the incident involved a two-hour stand off between two men who were trying to prevent a woman being taken to hospital.
