A 22-YEAR-OLD man has been charged with murder after the body of a woman was discovered at an address in Hither Green.

Farhad Safi, of Eastdown Park, is due to appear at Bromley Magistrates’ Court today (August 17) to answer the charge.

His court appearance comes three days after police were called to a block of flats in Eastdown Park.

After forcing their way into the property at around 5.50pm on Wednesday they found the victim, who was suffering from suspected stab wounds.

The victim, who is believed to be the suspect’s wife, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Next of kin have been informed but officers await formal identification.

A post-mortem examination will be arranged in due course.
