In my opinion, February is a confusing month, although there is freshness and Valentines Day, it is still a Winter month. You probably have to get back to work and want to start everything new, instead, letting yourself rest and enjoy winter for a little longer can put your year into perspective. For instance, I had no idea what I was planning to write about in this article, as far as I am aware nothing is really going on except winter. So why not write about doing nothing, although it may sound lazy and unrealistic with various jobs, allowing yourself to naturally rest throughout winter, especially January and February is important to your health.

So what should we be doing? Well, maybe try setting an earlier time to sleep, or let yourself wake up naturally, this allows your body to get its own sleep cycle which means you get the sleep you actually need rather than burning yourself out from unrealistic routines. Also eat heartier, filling meals, these not only control portions but makes you feel satisfied. Eating these dinners earlier, maybe 5:30 or 6:00 lets your body digest this delicious food, meaning you’re more likely to have a deep sleep. You could also try relaxing hobbies, such as painting or reading, anything that you can do peacefully.

This may sound a lot like wishful thinking, but living like this is very natural and better for your body. So, when it comes to spring, you are refreshed and excited for the light and heat!
